On July 23 and 24 the Oak Bluffs Downtown Streetscape Master Plan Committee and consultant team hosted a series of well-attended public events to gather community input and begin building a community vision for the streetscape master plan project. We held a business owners and merchants stakeholder meeting, a hands-on public visioning workshop, and a public open house event. In addition, members of the committee and team engaged residents, businesses, and visitors on July 23 at two outreach tables located in Healy Square and next to the Oak Bluffs Avenue information booth. We also went door-to-door visiting downtown businesses. The information received will help build the foundation for preparation of the conceptual master plan.
